Laid In Britain met with the Food Standards Agency in January for our slightly belated annual review.
We are pleased to report the FSA were completely satisfied with all aspects of our scheme and commended all our efforts over the past 12 months.
They were delighted to hear of an increase in members and bird numbers, along with the news that consumer demand was driving this, with their insistence that the eggs they purchased must be from a Laid In Britain farm.
Along with the above report into consumer confidence in UK produced food, it appears that there's never been a better time to belong to or become a member of Laid In Britain.
